Creating a more diverse creative industry

Rebels and Pilgrims exists to make the creative industry more diverse. We work to break down barriers by hosting community events, building a welcoming creative network and offering workshops and training that support people at every stage of their journey.

About Us

Building a creative scene in West London

Rebels and Pilgrims is a community-interest company based in West London. We support underrepresented creatives, especially those from global majority, working-class and female-identifying backgrounds, to build confidence, grow meaningful networks and access opportunities in the creative industry.

We do this by meeting people where they are, hosting creative events in everyday community spaces like libraries, high streets, youth centres, cafés and music shops.

Over the past three years, we’ve delivered 20+ events across Ealing and Hillingdon, helping local talent connect, learn and move forward in their creative journeys.

Our Values

  • Being Supportive: We believe in lifting each other up and finding ways to pass it forward so everyone has the chance to succeed.

  • Feeling Curious: We’re open and curious, about each other, ourselves and the world around us.

  • Always Challenging: We’re not afraid to question the status quo and push for a more fair and inclusive creative industry.

  • Having Fun: We take what we do seriously, but we don’t take ourselves too seriously. We believe in enjoying what we do and finding joy in the process, not just the outcome.
